Preparation Is Part of the Gig
Hiring a professional musician isn’t simply paying for the time they’re standing onstage.
You’re also hiring them to learn the music, prepare their equipment, understand the arrangements, and arrive ready to perform.
The audience shouldn’t know your regular drummer couldn’t make the show.
